AFAA YOUTH GROUP (AYG) Founded in January 2018 by AFAA President LM Felicito Guiyab and Dr. Hanzy F. Bustamante, the AFAA Youth Group (AYG) empowers Filipino-American youth in Austin through mentorship, education, and community service. AYG guides young people through career exploration, college admissions, higher education funding, and personal development. Senior high school students can also earn community service hours that enhance their college applications and build lasting leadership experience. The AARC creates spaces of belonging and healing for Asian American communities in Austin and beyond. The Consulate General of the Philippines in Houston, Texas (Houston PCG) exercises consular jurisdiction over the following States: Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas.
